Chrissy, a very dear friend of mine, is going to the hospital later this week to have a series of fibroid tumors removed from her heart-shaped uterus. It’s romantic, isn’t it, to possess a heart-shaped home for growing a kiddo? Just like Chrissy too, to have body parts as unique and quirky as she is. She is rightfully nervous and scared and I don’t know how to comfort her because I would react in much the same way if I were in her shoes. So I told her to feel whatever she wants and leave the positive energy to everyone else. After all, if it takes a village to raise a kid then can’t the village send good thoughts to heal my friend? So this week, let us celebrate the unique, the quirky, the one, the only…heart-shaped uterus!
